So I turned it in.

This is the longest novel I've ever published.

Um and I turned it in at like thirty thousand words longer.

And most of what I cut out most of what I cut out was more just descriptions of his daily of what, you know, Bernie was going through.

Um, like going down jetways and things like that.

You know, my editor rightly was like, you know, we don't need to know

every step detail, you know, going down another jet way and this and this and this.

So um yeah, if anything I I found like I had to cull a lot of it out of it.

That's a great question.

I I you know, I I haven't really thought of it in those terms.

I mean with maybe with the exception of Survivor Song, I did think, Oh, this is five hours and it has to read a little bit more thrillery than what I normal do or normally do or more plot than the interiority.

Um yeah, this book, I don't know, this book was just uh it was hard to write.

I mean, in at parts it was a lot of fun.

And I actually wrote like the last jeez.

The last forty thousand words in a mad forty days, which I've never written to

As much you know, as much in a as a short a time as I had at that point before.
