I was very small, not very often allowed in.

No, not at all.
Took no interest in their work, which I think is possibly typical of children.
You know, it's just ordinary what mum and dad do.
So ground floor, the studio, the staff coming in.
I mean, not many.
My mother's assistant, my father's draftsman secretary.
Later on, she had other design assistants downstairs.
He had a workshop downstairs.
Clients, important clients coming in.
first floor living room, which they created this beautiful, it became kind of legendary open plan, contemporary style living room.
