And there's been quite a glut in the supply of senior housing.

Developers have sort of already jumped the gun.

Now, remember, the baby boomer population is not in the sweet spot yet.

Usually people move into senior housing in mid-80s.

So the baby boomer isn't at that point yet.

So there's been a lot of new development in anticipation of that.

More and more people are going to want to go into senior housing.

And that new development has sort of missed the mark, and there has been a glut developing.

Yes, that is increasing, and that's potentially worrisome.

It used to be around 82.

Now it's 84.

And a lot of experts expect that trend to continue.

So it may be 85, 86, 87.

And that means less demand for senior housing.

Part of the reason why people are getting older before they go into senior housing is because they're getting healthier.

But also, the new technology is enabling them to stay in place.
