Actually, when you look at the population right now, that would be in the sweet spot for senior housing.

It's only about 15% of those people are actually in senior housing.

And a big part of that is because it's expensive.

That's going to continue to be an issue.

And for developers of senior housing, that's the holy grail.

How do you make your senior housing complexes affordable?

And they are using technology to do that.

For example, they'll have robots to help people get in and out of bed, which will decrease the cost of staff.

That makes it overall less expensive for people to afford senior housing.

On the aging in place side,

There are new startups that are coming up with new ways for people to tap into their home equity.

That's really important for people who are living on fixed income.

If they can tap into their home equity, then they can afford to age in place.

They don't have to sell their house and move into senior housing.

Yes, they do.

And it's not a horrible bet when you look at the bulge in the population.

But the question is, we all know that demand is going to increase, but to what extent?

And that's a bit of a moving target if seniors are able to stay home more and more.
