You view that there's this area here of pathology and disease, right?
Prevention is doing something so that you don't go into that box.
Building well-being is doing things to move you in this direction, to optimize the function of your body, the adaptability of the human body.
I have no problem with insurance covering crisis care or preventive care.
Okay?
There's logic in that.
Cover somebody that wants to optimize the adaptability of their body,
That insurance should not cover.
And I propose what I feel because there are going to be people who can't afford to do that.
So what I would love to see is require healthcare providers to do a portion of their practice at pro bono care or reduced.
And they need to report that.
That if 10% of the services I render, I have to give pro bono to people who qualify for that.
or I had to get a 50% discount to a group of people that qualify for that.
So the federal government would have to determine, just like we do for Medicaid and social services.
But let it live in the provider's world and require the provider to do it, then try to administrate it.
Because the costs of healthcare right now are escalating, not because the providers aren't necessarily making more money, but to administrate those costs.
Managed care is a never-ending spiral.
The amount of people and energy units that it takes to try to manage care
is costing more than the care itself.
