So there's continuing education for chiropractors.
Every state has a requirement for so many hours of continuing education.
Anywhere from 12 hours in a year to, I think some states, maybe 20, 24 hours a year.
Some states, you have to do like 30 hours over three years, whatever.
That's one of them.
Things that vary from state to state.
So chiropractors have loads of tools in terms of elevating their knowledge and in terms of what they do, both technically and other supportive things around it.
I was always drawn to doing continuing education that elevated my level of excellence in caring for the spine.
Okay.
Some chiropractors want to do continuing education, other supportive things like nutrition or rehab and things of that sort.
So there are loads and loads of mechanisms to keep on the edge of what you're doing.
And ultimately it comes down to the practitioner.
Getting my CE credits was never an issue for me.
I probably in a year's time would do 60 to 80 hours in a year because that was my nature.
Some chiropractors are just doing their credit hours so that they keep their license active.
Most states have a state society.
And I've encouraged, I'll always encourage people, I believe, whether you support the political efforts of that organization or not, you should be part of your state society.
They are ensuring your right to practice, keeping you aware of things that are going on in that state, changes in legislation that may affect the practice of chiropractic.
So being part of a state organization, I believe, is a responsibility of the chiropractor to maintain.
