I just have to sit inside the air conditioning and read.

Well, thank you for your congratulations.
And I'm honored to have been chosen by my peer board members.
Clearly do believe in the mission of the Faster Payments Council and excited to see what we can do to help
speed adoption of these various rails in the United States.
The United States has chosen to be market driven, particularly in the adoption of instant payments.
We have a panoply of payments available to both businesses and consumers in the United States.
And I think if there's one truism to payments, particularly when it comes to consumers, it is the easiest thing wins.
We are moving in a direction of embedded banking, embedded payments, hidden payments, whatever you want to call them, invisible payments.
And so I think one of the roles that the US Faster Payments Council can play is to help the industry come together and really some of the discussions that we have, I am convinced, cause people who are participating in those discussions to go off and ideate on products.
And so while we're not building any products, we're creating this kind of mash tun, to use our beer analogies, that causes the fermentation of ideas to eventually become wonderful products.
