You're a web on the pitch and you can't see the web, right?
But you should be able to know.
For example, I know players in the full forward line used to love me getting on the ball because they knew as soon as I got the ball, I was just kicking it.
That's what I love to do.
I didn't want a little five-yard pass.
I wanted to kick a boomer in somewhere.
There was times I got the ball and turned and just kicked.
I didn't even think.
But the players that were in there knew where I was kicking it to, where the movement needed to be.
And I knew where their sweet spot was.
So I knew that first one wasn't the ball, the second one was.
And that can't be conscious.
That has to be subconscious.
That has to be, oh, you have the ball torn, there's the space kick.
It's not even going to hit the man, it's going to hit the space he's hitting.
He's going to run into it.
That's probably not as coached as much anymore because it's 3v3 games, it's 5v5 games.
It's all small-sided games like soccer.
He's not kicking it.
Yeah, I think it's a programming part that has to be pulled back.
