I had the great privilege of one of my marble pieces, not the hand, but one of the text marble pieces, breathing the same air as a Felix Gonzalez Torres.
And it's a Felix Gonzalez Torres that I can't imagine any museum showing now.
It's called Forbidden Colors.
And it's just four solid colored panels of the Palestinian flag.
And just, you know, think about that now and actually thinking about, even thinking about Saurabh's exhibition and how that seems impossible now in the age of institutional self-censorship, that like you would have that work and then you would also have a room devoted to works from the Museum of Solidarity in Chile.
I think about that particular work a lot.

Because actually that minimalism was always just a vehicle for radicality.
Absolutely right, yeah, yeah.
It changes.
At the moment, there's like lots of large prints of work that will be finished in 2028.
But I think the constant would be, I always have like pictures of my daughter and I have origami animals.
Because I'm really good at origami and I tend to do them when I'm really stressed.
And so, yeah, my wife knows I'm really stressed when there's like a whole Noah's Ark in the studio.
And sometimes there is.
yeah but yeah and it changes like I think there's also oh yeah there's a postcard of Henri Michaud's mescaline drawings which which I've loved for so long and I there was a show at the Courtauld I think last year where I finally got to see them and they were amazing it was an amazing little vignette of a show wasn't it just a supercharged show yeah so I have yeah picture of material next to mescaline art which museum do you visit most frequently
I think as a Londoner, it's probably Tate Modern.
Or is it?
