Like Jess and Luke are like great examples of that where you just don't leave the other person in the dark knowing like not knowing why or when it might happen or if it will happen.

yeah i really feel like i've taken that for granted with my family it's very like natural for us to say it yeah although i always it's taken me years to get my grandma to say it back to me and i'm like that's a generational thing like i know she loves me but she like never says i love you grandma and i always say when we have like a phone call i'll be like at the end i'll be like i love you grandma and she'll be like oh you're terrific darling have a great and i'm like say it back
She has said it once or twice.
And I was like, damn, she really, I am the favorite.
I'm the favorite grandchild.
Cause I don't think she says to anyone else, but it's a generational thing.
But yeah, there are a lot of different like cultural differences and like reasons why people might not express like the words.
