So mostly like women who were poor, elderly, widowed or single or lacking a male protector, essentially we're going to be accused of again, like the religious beliefs, as we were saying with Christianity that,
Like, they kind of taught that women were the, in quotations, weaker sex, who were basically more easily seduced by the devil.
Again, like you were saying, the different gender norms, if you held property, if you were like living independently, if you challenged people, if you were smart, like, you were at risk of being accused and being taken down a notch for sure.
And kind of like what we were saying before about women's work, so like working with children, working with death, illness...
sex, food, plants, that was classed as, in quotations, women's work.
And that's where people would say, oh, this is witchcraft because- When things went wrong.
Yeah, when things went wrong.
So like the cow, it's not producing milk.
It's dried up.
