Yeah, as research shows, is much more important.
Um, there was this really big study that kept coming up when we were researching this that has just landed this year in June 2026.

Yeah, I kind of I always really love to know what the most modern thing is, um, particularly if it has a really big sample size.
And this one was massive.
So it was a global study over 74 countries with 41,000 people involved.
And they basically
Basically, did this survey where they got participants to rate themselves and their partners on nine different traits.
Health, kindness, physical attractiveness, religiousness, resources, social class, education, political or orientation, and age, as well as like their overall love and relationship satisfaction.
And D
The two biggest takeaways from this massive study was that differences in political views predicted a lower quality of relationship.
So I could have told you that for free.
Literally, I mean, we've been we've got the research here in this episode.
People telling us like the core values didn't match up, they were breaking up over it.
The second thing that this study found is that traits like kindness and physical attractiveness, the similarity between those, whether or not you match somebody, didn't really matter at all.
It was actually more about the fact that you perceived your partner as really kind or attractive.
So perceiving
as kinder, particularly the kindness thing, really made the relationship quality higher.
Yeah, like whatever.
