Yeah, but it's very hard for people to see.
Imagine there's a shadow.
So if you keep getting into relationships that are not working out, right, I would be saying don't look at the pattern, not the problem.
Okay.
So the person's not the problem.
You're not the problem.
Look at the pattern.
Generally, like when we're doing bad things for ourselves in relationships...
Something tries to tell us what it is, like a shadow, a little voice that says, this feels familiar.
This is the same thing again and again and again.
And the most important thing is to stop doing the pattern and actually try then to look inwards and say, OK, what is it in me?
And the best way to do that is to go to therapy or to read a lot about this stuff.
You can access information through podcasts and books and all different things if you can't afford therapy.
That's a really important question.
I don't actually think there is the one.
Like, when I met Dave, there's three things, I think, if we're deciding to marry someone, there's three things that you should go.
There's like a triangle where it says the best decision if you have these three things is to get married.
Intimacy.
I'm not talking about sex here.
I'm talking about trust and conversation and connection.
