Yeah.
But still quite significant in terms of our health uh in terms of health effects will all be at the bottom, all the kind of, you know, the additives, the the sweeteners, the colourments, et cetera.
I think the most helpful thing to look at from the nutrient profile is how much fibre's in there and how much added sugar.
It's in there.
That's what I would look at.
And then from the ingredient list.
That's where I would have a look to see how many whole foods, healthy foods are high up.
So if for example I was buying a peanut butter,
I would expect that peanuts is the top of the list.
So there's some peanut butters where it is just peanut butter sold, pinched sugar.
There's other peanut butters where actually you'll get other oils coming higher up the list like palm oil and other oils.
And then the peanuts is second down, showing that actually peanuts isn't the main ingredient in that peanut butter.
So that would lead me to doubt, well, why is that?
Yeah, I actually rarely look at backup pack labeling because I take the view that if you can see the food through the packaging, if it resembles the original food it came from, so take crisps, for example, if those crisps look similar to a potato that's just been sliced, I mean, quite often it's not in a clear pack, so it's difficult to do, but then I would assume that it's reasonably helpful.
I'm making big assumptions here.
if it's a crisp like what's it, so like cheese puffs, then that's where I'd start to look at the back of pack label.
I think if you looked at breakfast cereals i is another great example, drinks, smoothies.
Um, you know, you go to the breakfast cereal aisle, it now dominates nearly a whole aisle, and it's a great example of where there's a huge amount of choice.
But the variability in not just the cost but the healthfulness of the breakfast cereals is enormous.
When you look at the granola aisle, you can get an incredibly healthy granola.
