So actually the origin of life, whilst it's kind of, we don't know what the probability is on Earth over time, it's not that mysterious, right?
It is not.
What is mysterious is understanding how evolution occurs at a big planetary scale and shrinks down to produce the first cells.
And what is an interesting question is, how unique are we on Earth?
How unique is life?
Is there life elsewhere in the solar system?
I think we're looking in.
And I would say one thing about what would be working.
About 100 years ago, Einstein predicted that there would be gravity waves, right?
Distortions in space-time.
It took us 100 years to build a detector that would measure a gravity wave that would move a proton, a diameter.
And the event that did that occurred two and a half billion years ago.
So think about it.
Two and a half billion years ago, where humans were still amoeba,
On Earth, we went evolution, we built technology, we understood gravity waves, we built a detector, and we detected neutron stars that collided 2.5 billion years ago.
And yeah, that was hard.
