you had a hemiplegic migraine attack.
This was the beginning of my treatment journey and eventually receiving my chronic migraine diagnosis and my relationship with my neurologist who I still see today.
I would say continue to keep hope, be flexible to change because sometimes we get in a routine about how we're gonna manage chronic migraine and we find that it doesn't work, but we've been doing it so long that we don't necessarily wanna adapt.
And the other thing I would say is maintain a relationship with a neurologist or a headache specialist, even in periods when you're not really struggling.
Do a regular check-in like every six months or so.
This is what I do now with my doctor.
We do televisits and we stay in the loop with each other.
I think those things are very important.
And lastly, what I would say is that when managing any chronic illness, be aware of what your priorities are and manage those priorities.
And as I mentioned earlier, you know, spend time doing those things that bring you joy and that bring you fulfillment so that you don't become defined by your chronic condition.
You need to focus on those things that bring you joy, those things that bring contentment to your life, whether it's your hobbies or your family or whatever your social circle may be.
Focus on those things.
And those things will help to carry you through those dark periods that inevitably come when you're living with a chronic disease like chronic migraine.
I really appreciate it.
What a delight.
I appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
