I wasn't even physically present somewhere.

I just said, hey, this is a wrong ruling.

And by the way, the Superior Court then flipped the ruling and said, yeah, this is wrong.

You shouldn't have held him in the first place.

And so there is this intimidation tactic.

I do not enjoy spending $20,000 to defend a tweet, which, by the way, was legally and accurately describing the situation.

But this is why we've seen law firms capitulate to $100 million.

This is why we're seeing ABC spend $15 million telling Trump, we're sorry, we won't be mean to you again.

I think while it is horrible to be in these circumstances, and my empathy is for you, and my sympathy is for you, Don, and my support is for you.

I think that you were on Jimmy Kimmel the other day.

They tried to do the same thing to the Jimmy Kimmel show.

This is a pressure test where they are going to keep pushing the envelope as much as possible.

And this is where I tell everyone watching you and listening to your work that this is how we need to support independent journalists and make sure that we have not just our dollars behind them, but our voice and our advocacy behind them as well.

Because if we don't stop this now, it's going to get worse to a point of no return.

You know, I think I've seen this happen in other countries.

We've seen dictators and autocrats and strongmen jail journalists where there was reporting that was unfavorable to them.

I mean, this is not and this is the point that I try to make that everything Donald Trump is doing is not original.

I mean, bigotry, fascism, autocratic behavior is very unoriginal.
