It's these culture wars that we need to recognize the reality of.
And people like Will and Jolly can talk to other white folks in ways that Don and I can't.
And that's why I appreciate them leading that charge and kind of being accountable in that space and holding white folks accountable to say, hey, listen, your enemy is not Don.
It's not Gossam.
It's not the LGBTQ person.
It's not the Muslim.
It's not the immigrant.
It's not the trans person.
It's the billionaire offshoring businesses.
It's the billionaire giving themselves tax cuts while raising your taxes.
The billionaire forcing you to pay tariffs while giving handouts to his buddies.
Until and unless we can have those conversations one-on-one in a meaningful and sustainable way,
we're not going to be able to make any kind of meaningful progress.
And it's that reason why my door always remains open.
I get emails regularly.
I put out an article a couple of days ago about how Christmas Eve is the 160-year anniversary of the KKK's founding.
And the number of people who reached out to me and said, I've always been afraid to have these conversations because I realize my race's history, but can I ask you some questions that I don't want to ask publicly?
Because they're afraid of that public conversation.
