From a firm perspective, just in full disclosure, because Matt is a client, and again, I'm assuming he didn't say what is your firm.
He said what is a firm who recommends index funds going on TV talking about individual stocks.
So when I go on TV, you'll see the disclosures.
We might own it.
We might have a position in it as a firm.
I might have a position in it personally.
So we have a tremendous amount of capital that is individual equities.
Not something we recommend for most people.

have to understand i come from that world uh i teach investment analysis at the university of kentucky have for the last 10 years uh we the kids manage about six million dollars all individual stocks um i'm implementing a very similar thing at a local high school all individual stocks um why okay why do i why are we doing that and why okay uh my history i started as a broker
When I started in business as a registered investment advisor, 100% stock portfolios.
ETFs were relatively new on the scene.
This was 25 years ago.
Relatively new on the scene.
Mutual funds were almost all active managed mutual funds.
And so you'd pay a manager to manage those funds and et cetera.
Index funds were coming on the scene.
They just weren't as popular.
And so I have evolved over time as a firm.
