It's Lena Dunham's Famesick.
Has anyone read it yet?
Yeah.
Did you like it?
I absolutely loved it.
I'm a big fan of this TV series Girls and actually recently I watched it all again.
It's six seasons of it.
And the thing about Lena Dunham is she was in her early 20s and she became the showrunner on this brilliant, brilliant TV show set in Manhattan.
And she actually, this is her second memoir.
It's interesting for someone so young that she's done a second one.
I wasn't really that gone on the first one, I have to say, but this is really telling the story of what happened when she became very quickly, very famous and the corrosive nature of that.
And also was doing, making this show while she was also chronically ill, but in an industry where they didn't really care about the fact that she was chronically ill.
She had endometriosis.
She's writing about that and how she's just pushing through it all.
It is, it's just, it's very funny in parts.
She's a great memoirist because obviously she's telling a lot about other people, but when it comes to herself, she's very self-aware.
You know, if she needs to, she's honest, she's telling the bad points about herself and she's not stinting from that.
I thought she was great.
I wanted to read a tiny bit from it, if that's okay, because I think this is a good anecdote.
And it's not all show busy.
