To me, there's less longevity and less legacy with that.
And so as a one-off short-term approach, those are the kind of things that could get you a couple seasons away.
of attention and maybe you know directing it away from being just one of a million things like you know one of a whole bunch of widgets on the website and like that would make you stand out but i don't think that that's as long term of a play i mean honestly this is why i'm so currently focused on the concept of standards of tiers chain scale because to me
if we are able to create these tiers and standards within them that are agreed upon, then you're creating smaller subsets with which all of us will operate.
So right there, you're changing it from one big picture, right?
To even within a two bedroom to like a three bedroom, a five bedroom, you would have the tiers.
So now,
to me, that's segmenting what's out there.
It's allowing everyone to fit into a tier.
So you're, you know, creating a little bit of a smaller stage and then you're, um, allowing the guests to understand like, okay, there's a set standard and, and, you know, we adhere to that.
So to me, this is one of those ways that even if the OTAs were to go in and play along with the concept of tiers and standards, if that ever materialized, um,
that still as a as a company you would be able to finally have a chance to build a brand that mattered right because there would be something around it if you had a framework of tiers and standards and you had a brand right it could have actual meaning within that i mean that's what happened with hotels but i think that um to me that's why i'm so hot to trot on that right now is because it's almost impossible to think about how you would do it otherwise
Okay, relationship obviously is massive and that has to do with your team and your company culture, right?
Because if you're gonna have a team and you're gonna have, if you're gonna have a business that's relying on relationships, you're gonna have to have a team that is stable and that you have people on your team that are with you for a long time.
Because if they're building relationships, if your frontline people are building relationships with your customer, they better be there year after year because that's why your customer is coming back year after year.
So to me, a few things.
One is company culture.
And I was always like, I don't want to swear.
So sorry.
I'm almost like, I'm always like about to swear and I'm trying not to.
