Resnick's testimony was huge for the defense.

It did get off to a bit of a rocky start in the courtroom.

There was a lot of technical issues and so Dr.

Resnick was actually

joining the court over Zoom because he is eighty eight years old.

And he had just undergone major surgery and only been released from hospital on the Tuesday, just a couple of days before testifying.

So he was calling in remotely from his home in Ohio.

And, you know, it was a bit tense in the morning because there was ongoing technical issues.

They thought they'd resolved it.

Then the jury came in and you could tell this was making, you know,

the defense a little bit fraught because of how important his testimony is.

We had been expecting to also hear from Dr.

Margaret Spinelli, who is, you know, one of the biggest postpartum psychosis experts.

And she was going to testify to Lindsay Clancy actually having postpartum psychosis and her professional opinion on that.

So the fact that we didn't then hear from her, you know, that's something the defense wouldn't talk about why.

He decided not to call her

At the last moment, she was in the courtroom actually last week.

So we were all expecting her to eventually get up and take the stand.

But changes happen in courts, changes happen in trials, and for some reason she was not brought up to testify.

But this meant that, you know, Dr.
