Resnick's testimony was even more important.
And of course, you know, that includes the delivery of it when there was, you know, crackling and they were talking over each other over the Zoom.
It was not making for a good jury experience.
They did obviously resolve that after quite some time and you know, it was just one of the many delays that has happened during this trial.
So this was just another one of those.
And then obviously Dr.
Resnick then did testify.
And, you know, as we've just said, that testimony was very crucial to the defence's case.
So that comment about her feeling like a puppet, not being in control of her actions, was a big moment.
You know, that very much goes to the heart of the case that she was not able to either control her actions or conform them to the law, which is criminal responsibility.
So that is the very thing that the defense is sh saying that she did not have criminal responsibility at the time.
And Dr.
Vesnick.
We've laid out that argument very clearly, very succinctly uh with these points.
So we got one interesting exchange when Sprague cited Dr.
Resnick's own writing, where he stated that people experiencing command hallucinations can sometimes resist dangerous commands.
She then compared this to the case of Andrea Yates, which we mentioned earlier.
Yates had a documented hearing voices before she killed her children, which she said that she had tried to resist.
