And there was a subtle sign of support for her when Sue actually left the stand as well.

As she was leaving the courtroom, she looked at Lindsay for quite a few moments, as though she was trying to catch her eye, and then offered her a subtle nod.

So it's an interesting one because, and you know, this is no doubt something that the prosecution probably aren't too happy about.

The victims in this case are the children and the families of the children.

So one of the things that Susan verified was that Lindsay Clancy was desperately seeking help.

She actually used the phrase begging for help in those months leading up to the killings.

And to clarify, these are messages from Lindsay to Susan.

So not only was Susan her mother-in-law, Susan and Lindsay were both nurses as well.

So, you know, they obviously spoke about these things and

So she had Susan to speak to when it came to things like the medications and like the treatment she was receiving.

So Susan actually, given her experience as a nurse, she actually helped put Lindsay in touch with a nurse, one of the nurses that we heard from during the last week of testimony, Nurse Julie Paul.

And that was someone who Lindsay met with and, you know, worked with for some time as she sought help for her postpartum issues.

We also heard from Susan's testimony and from some of the other witnesses' testimony that some of Lindsay's efforts to get help were actually turned down.

So she actually reached out to Women and Infants Hospital, which had a perinatal programme, but she was not accepted because of concerns that she was over-medicated.

So as was mentioned there and in our earlier episode, we know that Lindsay called that hotline twice, but she was deemed to have not reached the threshold for help because she did not have an immediate suicide plan.

Yeah, so this came about as prosecutor Shannon Buckingham cross-examined Sue and delved into her home and her personal life.

It started with questions about how she would spend time with the kids and support the family, then moving into Christmas time.

But as the questioning continued, there was a moment that the judge, Judge William Sullivan,
