However, the defense claims that this shows a woman so unwell that she was actively seeking help, and that the severity of her condition may have been overlooked because she was seeing multiple providers who were all prescribing her different things.

Yeah, so Dr.
Jennifer Tusps was one of the main doctors who treated Lindsay Clancy in the lead up to the killings.
She treated her from September 2022 right up until the day before the killings happened.
And she prescribed her a lot of drugs during that time.
One interesting thing that came up was that she only ever saw her over Zoom.
They never met in person.
And she prescribed her more and more.
She actually upped her dosage on one of the medications just one day before the killings.
With Dr.
Tufts as well, she had actually only been practicing as a fully licensed psychiatrist for about months before Lindsay became her patient, that September 2022.
And at the time Lindsay was seeking help primarily for
postpartum anxiety and depression, obviously coming a few months after she'd given birth to Carlin.
Tufts diagnosed her with generalised anxiety disorder, an adjustment disorder, with depressed mood.
