Tufts about what happened on January twenty third.

Shortly after this exchange, Sprague's questioning became much more direct.
That's right.
During cross-examination, Kevin Reddington tried to cast doubt on Tufts' experience, who, as we mentioned earlier, had not been practicing independently for long before Lindsay became her patient.
She'd also never seen a patient with postpartum psychosis.
So there was a lot of back and forth between her and Kevin Reddington.
It became quite combative.
And another thing that he also honed in on was the fact that she didn't communicate with other providers who'd also treated Lindsay during that time.
They also had conflicts over Dr.
Tufts' medical notes.
The first came over the use of the word deteriorating.
When describing Lindsay Clancy's condition, the defense wants to sabber that Lindsay was deteriorating in the lead up to the tragedy, but Doctor Tufts doesn't agree with the use of the word that was in her own notes.
So the cross examination actually also exposed something else that Dr.
Tufts didn't know.
Lindsay Clancy had actually called a suicide hotline twice in December 2022.
This is something that mental health counsellor Letitia Jukes confirmed.
