Sometimes people feel so hopeless and just sitting down and talking with someone for you know, and obviously an expert, not just anybody, but talking down with someone who's who's equipped and skilled can can give someone that hope again and just that little flicker that they need to to think, okay, more is possible, better is possible.
If I just like stick with it, there's gonna be some better options.

It's very interesting hearing your bio read in a in a long nutshell.
Yeah, it has been very much like that.
It's like been jumping on board at full speed.
Having been the chair, obviously I was already familiar with the organization, but from a much higher level.
So
Yeah, getting into all of the day-to-day operations and the weeds has been quite the learning curve.
Yeah, and I haven't had the time to do it at the pace that I might have preferred.
So yeah, accurate.
Well, yeah, it's kind of interesting.
It has seemed very, uh, what's the word, synergistic, like just kind of all the pieces fell into place at the right times for the right thing to happen, I would say.
Angela Ross is the executive director of Momentum Counseling, and we're good friends.
She was a manager of mine back when I worked in the provincial government.
And we just kept in touch a lot over the years and we have a very similar perspective on leadership.
And culture and those kinds of pieces.
So we just each have a lot of confidence in each other, which is one of the reasons I joined the board for her organization.
And she needed to go on a on a medical leave.
And we were just talking as friends.
