So that's something we have to tell people too.
We're not a for profit agency.
We are a nonprofit.
That's a totally different structure.
And we do give a tax deductible receipt for anything over $25.
Yeah, I do think sometimes, you know, I'll get the question from potential corporate donors like, Well, what have you done about it so far?
And so I can give a short recap.
We've done, you know.
tried to look at everything that we possibly can.
We've actually changed the structure of how we pay our therapists.
We're paying less than we used to pay as of beginning of July.
We're also uh, you know, not not accepting as many new therapists to come on board.
We've adjusted some people's job descriptions, reduced hours in some cases.
We have had several employees step forward and offer their time for free for a couple of months, which is incredible, but obviously not something we can expect them to do for the long term.
So it's like a temporary measure that those adjustments have helped us know that we can get past August into September, which is great, but we really need to be able to raise those funds between August.
In September so that we can
go back to paying those staff and continue to exist and not be running a deficit every month.
So we are also cutting services and adjusting things.
