I've been saying for a little while now I'm kind of uh irrationally optimistic.

It's a high goal that we've set.
It's a lot of funding we need to come through, but I really see that this team is uh are the ones who could do it if anybody can.
Right, in terms of
really talking about our needs and showing up the way we need to.
And unfortunately, I think sometimes in the service sector we're we're too self-sacrificing.
We can take on that kind of martyr complex of like, okay, I don't need anything as long as everybody else gets what they need.
So we have to balance that a bit.
But um but definitely the the the heart for people is is there throughout the organization, the belief in what we do, the
pulling together for each other.
I heard that over and over again in folks I interviewed that they know the team has their back.
The consulting work I was doing prior to this, a lot of it was around psychological safety in the workplace and helping organizations become more psychologically safe.
So I did a lot of surveys to gauge that within organizations.
And I did that when I came into Momentum.
And Momentum actually had the highest scores I've ever seen in terms of staff feeling psychologically safe.
It was like the highest rating of all the other conditions was I feel psychologically safe in.
the workplace, which that is pretty incredible because often it is one of the lowest in most organizations, even mental health serving organizations or even social services organizations, you can't assume that that's the state and the culture of the organization, but here it it truly is.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, it's this balance between hoping the best happens, but not counting on it happening without effort.
