So how would you tell someone about asset type?

I'm going to answer that question just, and I can only talk about my own personal portfolio or other clients' portfolios.

I'm not qualified to talk about, you know, property investment types, but I will talk about a property in my portfolio.

But I'll talk about a property in my portfolio as an example of how to work this out.

So I've got a property that I bought in 2020, and it is the property I put the most money into each year.

So it is a negatively geared property.

It is a property that I run at a loss.

Now, I have to put money into that every year, but it's also the property that goes up the most in value every year.

It is a high quality asset in an extremely...

excellent location.

And I would go, well, how would I know whether that's performing well?

When I do my bush maths, I look at how much have I put into that property to hold it a year and how much has that gone up in value?

And I want it to go up in value a whole lot more than what I'm holding it costs.

And that's how I work out what properties are like in my portfolio.

Now, there might be something that I put less money into or no money into, but that might not grow at the same rate.

And you need to make a decision as an investor.
