And I said, well, that's what dance does.

You don't dance just when you're happy.

You dance when you're sad or you're mad or whatever.

But she, she learned something that day that it's, it's the dance isn't a Kumbaya kind of thing.

It's a life thing.

So if we could understand that.

Every day that I danced, I wasn't at my best.

And sometimes I just wanted to scream and say, I don't want to teach today.

But I did it anyways.

But I took that feeling and I put it into my class.

And this is really the dance of life.

It's in any dance that we do, if we could just pull life into it, then it becomes this real thing that people can kind of connect to.

And I think that's why women

And men, because men do belly dancing too.

It's not just a strictly woman thing.

I think that's why we connect with each other because if somebody walks in, they're not having a good day, the other dancers know it.

And so we can all kind of connect to that.

And so it's really a village type of dancing, but it's a life dance.
