And the one thing that I think is so cool, and every time I think about this, it makes me smile because I can just see me doing this way back when if I was dancing, you know, if I was one of these gals, which I think I was in a past life.
But they would wear their coins.
I mean, when they would get thrown money or if they got thrown jewels, they didn't have anywhere to put them, so they wore them.
So they used to wear their money.
And so that's where hip scarves came from, is the coin belts.
So I think that is so cool that what we wear is basically from a history of women actually, you know, wearing their money and wearing their jewels and just looking beautiful.
and this adding to their costume and just making themselves look beautiful.
So I like that history.
I like the fact that if I have different hip scarves and I can dance around and I hear the jingle, it's like an echo of many, many years back of these women dancing.
I think it's amazing.

You know, there's no judgment to a certain degree, and this is the little caveat there, is as I got more professional, and I danced in nightclubs, and I danced with live bands, and I was traveling.
I was living in Texas at the time, so I was living in the Fort Worth area, and I would travel to Dallas and then to Houston.
And
what I thought I was getting into in the beginning was this Kumbaya type of dance form that was just ancient.
And it was just, it was lived in me and I ate and I was breathing and sleeping and every, every day was belly dance for me.
