Daly, and that he very much regrets.
There was a letter that was handed into court where he said that his thoughts were with the Daly family, that he was very sorry for the loss of.
their husband and father and that he understood the impact that it had, particularly on Mr.
Daly's partner and his young children.
And he specifically commented on the fact that, you know, he understood that they had Christmas without their father and he understood the impact that would have on the family.
Langford said that this was a tragedy, not just she said, for the Daly and the O'Reilly family, of course, Mr.
Daly's partners, Katie O'Reilly, and her family members also spoke about the impact.
She was 19 years old when she met Mr.
Daly, and she said that he's the love of her life.
She said he was an exemplary father.
He was a very devoted husband.
She said that that really his family meant the world to him.
And
y she said that the impact that this had on them was just beyond words and she also said that very poignantly she said that he used to joking she didn't like being called Catherine.
So her husband would always would call her Catherine in a bid to kind of, you know, ball hop with her or whatever.
And she said, I would give anything to hear him call me Catherine one more time.
And Miss Justice Langford noted that, you know, this was an appalling tragedy.
