Jim Dale is my go-to for the reads and his performances, by the way, because I have to say this here, the full cast edition is incredible.
But when you say it's hard to separate the movie performances from the full cast Audible edition, for me, that's Jim Dale's performance from these characters, this new edition.
Because
Jim Dale performs the heck out of Harry Potter, like every single character.
And he talks about it.
He's very well known for how much he put into each character.
Every single character is so like specific and tailored from book to book to book.
He's so consistent and all of that.
Like when I hear McGonagall, I hear Jim Dale's McGonagall.
So when you say like they did a they kind of kept it consistent, at least books one, two and movies one, two and three for the character performances.
I feel similarly to the Jim Dale performances.
Actually, I thought the accents and the the general kind of personality stay similar.
But that could also be just because the text writes them this way.
Right.
Like she wrote it this way.
So let's perform it that way.

I don't know if Jim Dill was going for Alan Rickman, but the Snape, this is the only exception, honestly, that I can think of, at least major exception to everything else that I've said already, which is Snape doesn't feel like Snape in these Audible full cast renditions.
It feels like an imposter of Snape.
I'm like, who's this guy playing Snape?
