I can't get on board with him.

The pacing, the vibe, the tone, just all of it feels so awkward.

And every time he comes in, I can feel myself getting defensive.

Like, that guy who's supposed to be Snape is going to come up now.

I'm curious why this choice of this kind of acting and performance for Snape is who they chose.

It feels so different, like vastly different.

It really feels like they filmed, like they filmed a movie, like and then they just took the visuals out of it and gave us the nice audio.

It does not at all feel like studio recorded, you know, sitting down performance theatrical.

It doesn't feel like an audio book recording.

It feels completely performed.

So I'm not at all surprised about how they went about doing that.

That's super smart.

In the beginning chapters of book four, where it's like it at the Dursley's house and it's, you know, Vernon Dursley and the family and Harry.

I'm like, are they all adults?

What happened?

It feels like we're all just listening to middle-aged people speak, but it took me a second to get used to it.

Also, I have another qualm.

Ron and Harry sound extremely similar in book four.

Ron sounds the way he's supposed to, but Harry sounds kind of too old.

So for me, they're way too similar.
