So he was able to come up with an equation that related, say, the amount of time elapsed and the amount of rainfall to the degree of pitting, right?
So let's go, okay, so here's a closer up view of the pitting.
This is primarily formed by rainfall over long periods of time because you could go, you could even have a heavy rainfall for a day or two.
You'd go out, you wouldn't see anything really.
So this requires a long period of time to get this level of pitting.
Now, this is, again, on the base of the pyramid.
Let's see.
Yeah, so this is the paper.
And then here's a study.
So what he did was he studied, looked at the difference between the degree of pitting that was protected from the weather under the casing stones, which he knew had been exposed to the atmosphere for 675 years.
And he compared that to the degree of pitting and weathering on the base outside, right?
So from that, he was able to develop this equation
that looked at the degree of weathering, the difference in the degree.
And so what he found was that in order to get this exposed to the level of this over here, I mean, to get this eroded to the level that you had over here.
So over here on the left, it's outside the casing stones.
This would have been under the casing stones.
He dated this based upon this, um, or what he calls, uh,
What is he called?
I should have had this loaded up, but next time.
He says, "...conclusions of the preliminary report.
