They fled to Egypt to avoid, you know, Herod's slaying of the firstborn.
Then we don't hear anything about him except for one episode where he is, they're in Jerusalem and they lose him somehow, and they find him in the temple discoursing with the elders.
Then we don't hear anything about him for, what, 18 years.
He shows up, gets baptized by John the Baptist in the River Jordan.
He's presumably at this point 30 years old, and that's when he begins his ministry.
What about those missing 18 years?
That's kind of, for me, that's like a huge question.
I go, well, he was obviously doing something somewhere, meeting people.
Why is that just completely fallen off people's radar screens to ask that question?
What was he doing during those missing years?
Mushrooms.
Well, you know what?
There may be something to that idea.
Yeah, and if you read the Gospels, I mean, Jesus never referred to himself as the Son of God.
He always refers to himself as the Son of Man, almost as if to say, hey, I'm somebody else who, just like you said, I've gone through this process, and I've incarnated the divinity within, and I have a direct telecommunication with a higher power here.
And I've been around some interesting spiritual masters over the years that had powers that I witnessed personally and experienced personally that led me to believe that what you just said is real, that we can evolve to this position.
What my take on it is, and this would be a great conversation to have somewhere down the road, is that he did go through a whole period of rigorous training that led to the development of these faculties.
and that others have gone through similar periods, similar rigorous trainings.
And yeah, there's a lot to unpack there.
