And then, of course, 1948, they got the country created.
Another war was started.
A war, and I know people say, well, this is a war to drive the Palestinians out.
It was also a war to eliminate Israel.
to basically kill Israel in the crib in 1948.
And they fought and they fought and they fought and they fought.
And at no point was there ever anything carved out for the Jews.
And so the Jews have been fighting an existential fight.
But there's no liberal option on the table here.
That's what I'm telling you.

I mean, look, if...
If tomorrow there's a peace agreement, okay, and they actually go forward with something where they create a reasonable alternative for the Palestinians in Gaza, if they actually stop what they're doing in the West Bank and get to peace in Lebanon, that may change.
I don't see that happening, which is why I give you the answer I gave.
But again, this notion that somehow there's a liberal option on the table, and how could we possibly support the illiberal state of Israel, what's gonna come in there?
