It all ties together.
That's part of the reason that we've only gotten a handful of these bills done is we were sent home early by the speaker when we were supposed to be marking this bill back in July, at the end of July.
So we all left.
And what I heard this morning, I didn't have a chance to go out there and see it,
But what I heard was extraordinary courage from these victims, from these survivors.
And I wish that just a handful of my Republican colleagues would exercise even a shred of that courage to, again, do something that would get them sideways with the administration.
But we have an opportunity with this effort from Massey and Khanna, bipartisan effort,
to get real transparency, real accountability, not the BS that the speaker is peddling, not any other half measure, but real truth about what occurred.
And things would be redacted per that bill, but that would be to protect things like privacy, be to protect the victims, but it wouldn't be to block political, you know, things that are politically inconvenient as an example.
Are they pulling me back?
