That's not a hoax.
I mean, this is absurd.
This is ridiculous.
And, you know, at the end of the day, you know, I think that we all want justice and accountability and transparency.
And it's obvious that the speaker does not want that.
The speaker cares more about loyalty to Trump and about keeping his job than about anything else.
And I think he should be ashamed.
Due process is huge, you know, and what I'm seeing happening in my district over the August work period where we had a lot of ICE activity, very concerned about what I'm seeing there.
Right now, being on the Appropriations Committee, biggest concern for me
is making sure we fund the government and we do it in a responsible way.
And we fight for health care, Don, because what the Republicans have done with the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid and Medicare will decimate health care in this country.
And they don't want to admit it, but at the beginning of next year, you will see 5 million people lose their health insurance because of what they've done.
So I'm hoping we might be able to work with them in good faith, in a bipartisan way, but I'm losing that faith right now.
