It's going to be the public rising up.

It's going to be the public consistently opposing this president.

It's going to be the public voting in people who will defend our economy and our rights and our democracy.

And in order to have the kinds of majorities with the public that we need to truly defeat Trump and Trumpism, that means we're going to have to build a big coalition of

That includes everyone who's already with us, but also, yes, people who either have given up on politics or people who maybe voted for the president in the last election, who are Trump tolerant, but who feel like he has broken his promises to them.

They felt like we survived the first term.

They perceived costs were lower, and they perceived a second Trump term as something that we could survive, and maybe there would be lower costs.

The reality is it's been anything but.

We've seen attacks on our democracy that we didn't see in the first term, and we've seen costs rise because of the Trump tariffs and other reckless policies in a way that completely violates this president's promises during the last election.

And we've got to be willing to create that coalition, and that's hard.

Because it means being in coalition with people who we disagree with on some things, on a lot of things.

And I think we've got to get to a place with so much on the line to say, we welcome people and welcoming people into our coalition doesn't mean that we're condoning or agreeing with every position that they have.

They're like, she's got to go.
