We're looking at him who's making the noise.
And it's like the classroom, isn't it?
The classroom effect.
You always look at the boy that's making the most noise and not the most studious one who's not making any noise.
And I think that's where we've got to be careful about looking for those other hidden symptoms and traits of ADHD.
You know, she disappears into herself.
You know, she can be in a book or in the iPad and I can be standing right next to her talking to her and she won't hear me because she's blocked it all out.
Um, in terms of time blindness, my third daughter especially is really time blind.
I've got 10 minutes to do this.

Why have you not done it?
Because I was doing something that was interesting and rewarding novel to me, you know?
So I think, you know, that's, that's the challenge that women have is that because boys have always been louder with their ADHD, um,
they get the ones that have the tag and the label that are now that is not you're naughty, but you must be ADHD.
And I think that goes to a certain degree towards those
who have more of an inattentive ADHD style as well as men, because they're not.
And I was never the, my mum said, you can't have ADHD because you weren't bouncing around as a kid.
You weren't bouncy and loud.
And then I started reeling off some things that were traits and symptoms that I had as a kid that she then started to realise that was true.
