And another one traveling at you know six, seven hundred miles per hour.
Uh quite a different technical challenge for them to solve themselves.
And a different product needed for when someone's flying in the air.
Uh, people expect to be able to stream TV, uh, which you're not normally expecting when in a boat as well.
Well, maybe you are if you're it's a cruise ship, but uh very much different uh needs for people in those circumstances and different pricing models.
So the obviously the price point for aviation was much higher for them as a business model than it was with the uh maritime and and kind of almost like people.
say people uh look like they're they're dogs.
Uh in the same way people often react and behave in the same way as the business unit they're in and their attitude to change and things was was very much reflected by the types of business they're in almost slow, fast moving.
Sorry for anyone there that I used to work with in maritime.
Yeah, so um I started doing the London group almost by accident.
I was working at a company called Make Positive in 2013.
And the CEO there had been letting people use the office at night times for doing events.
And we had a ping-pong table, it's very much that whole bean bags and ping bing bags and ping pong tables culture.
And so we were very popular.
We tend to host every month.
And somehow as CTO, I tended to inherit the responsibility for doing that.
Um
think what's unique about Salesforce is we have these community groups.
They're volunteers, we give up our time, we find speakers, we find hosts, we provide catering, uh, provide drinks and refreshments, uh, and we do the clearing up as well.
And I think anyone out there going to those groups, please remember to help out because if you don't put your pizza box in the bin or your drinks in the recycling, uh someone like me has to do it.
