We could use ETL tools, but that being quite a slow solution.
Someone would have to do it every month.
What we wanted to is to react as they launch new products or new product variants is to make sure it's available in the price book to sell immediately.
So we we built a solution, a simple solution I wrote using some Salesforce Apex code.
And I realized this was not just a one time solution.
This was something that was reusable.
So I published it on the Salesforce App Exchange, okay, for free for people to use.
And again, it's to drive marketing.
If anyone's out there thinks I'm gonna build an app.
I'm going to build an app.
I'm going to put it on the Salesforce App Exchange.
I'm going to make millions.
Uh sorry, you're not going to do that.
Okay.
The way you make millions with ISVs, with applications, is to do direct sales.
It's to go out outside the app exchange as well.
However, um, I don't know if your listeners know this, but actually the term app store was first coined by Mark Benioff.
In fact, he registered it.
Yeah.
And he gave it, didn't sell it, he gave it to Steve Jobs.
