Um, but if we took one thread across all those things, it's about translation.
It's translating what someone says or what a business thinks it wants to what users actually need.
And that's that's something I've always really enjoyed.
So CRM, customer relationship management, yeah, ultimately it's a system, it's a solution, but there's always variability, there's always uh a USP of company that they want to translate into that or some automations and things.
So solution architecture has always played a big role at both a sort of a high-level view explaining that to people, whether it's a CIO, a CTO, or even just a CRM project manager.
Um, South Force has a unique situation around the software development lifecycle.
It may surprise people to learn it's only in the last
five years, 10 years maybe, that people have actually been doing source driven development.
I know it's shocking, isn't it?
Uh when Salesforce started, it started with change in production.
That was the it started the production system.
Sandboxes came much later.
Uh, with that immaturity, new tools, new techniques, and different challenges have come about, and different ways of packaging things as well.
So my pre sales roles have both been at consultancies to actually explain solutions to people, but also at system integrators where I've needed to um needed to explain how the product solves the problems, the pain points that the customer's got.
And my my product experience has mainly in the last ten years been involved in the tooling side of things rather than like industry solutions or or business solutions or such.
So very much
dealing with uh my opposite numbers, people that are doing jobs that I've done before.
I find they're actually much easier to convince and they're the budget holders.
So you have to have them convinced.
Um, so generally I've been working on solutions where they understand and they own the problem.
