There's a totally different approach to life.
They're pack animals.
They hunt cooperatively.
The snow leopard, it seems to me, is a totally isolated character.
He's a hermit.
So they hunt in very different ways.
Yes, it's really a threat, the wolf, to the snow
Now, you mentioned that there have been people in the Himalaya for 30,000 years.
Surely, snow leopards have learned to take the odd person, but apparently they haven't.
An injured person, an old person, a young person, or somebody lost in the mountains would be easy prey for a thing like a snow leopard.
Do they ever attack people?
Now the animal itself, you say it's a wonderful climber.
The design that enables the snow leopard to behave as it does, you know, it has very flexible limbs, obviously.
Could you develop this a bit for us?
The eyes seem to be very far apart and things like that.
And it's got this wonderful tail.
Can you develop the technique it uses and the equipment, its physical equipment that enables it to behave the way it does?
So this must be very useful when it comes to mating time.
These are very solitary creatures, yet they must mate up with a member of the opposite sex if they are to continue existing.
Is the vocal side of things equipped for that, getting themselves noticed away up in those mountains with huge vistas?
