really for the last half of a billion years, you know, since what was called the Cambrian explosion, when you start getting complex forms of life.
So that's less than one tenth of the life of this planet.
And it's only going to go, you know, by another billion years from now, there will be no life on this planet.
The sun will have burned it all off.
So we're here for a moment.
We're here for a geologic moment where the thin skin of our world has a biosphere that supports life.
Well, so that would bring them here for sure with oceans and we've got oceans and land.
Really, it's quite amazing.
So they would come here to check that out.
But then they're looking at these standing up primates, us, who have learned what they've learned.
That is, we've learned mathematics.
We've learned science.
We've learned that there is a kind of physics to the universe and to reality.
which is most animals don't get to that level, but we did.
And so they would definitely find us interesting.
We've got an intense curiosity and inquisitiveness and ability to manipulate our world.
We're sending probes out now into space.
That would certainly be interesting to any visiting species, but then they would have to think,
what should our attitude toward these people be first of all they're at war constantly non-stop they never never are at peace humanity is never at peace go back to our history never been at peace uh ever since we've settled down with uh you know social hierarchies last let's say 10 000 years
Be generous.
