I think the UK, honestly, I don't want to make you feel bad, but I think the UK's coverage of this subject is some of the worst in the world.

I think the UK media, and I've noticed this for many, many decades now, there's just something almost pathological in the media structure of the United Kingdom relating to the UAP subject that

really um and i think there's still a lot of that in the mainstream yeah they're like basically a modern version of the soviet union really when you think about it i mean it's really no it's actually no different uh that that uh society toward especially toward the end was such a um a disconnect between actual reality and what the what the media was telling people like they all they all realize like this media is completely and hopelessly and totally out of touch with with reality

And I think that's what you see in a lot of the West.

UK is a great example, but it's not unique.

I think it's just a result of basically the Western world in general, not wanting to come to terms with the fact that it's no longer invincible and it's living in the past.

And so there's this kind of high bound nature to a lot of Western commentary in the US, in the UK, in Europe, that,

is it's you get I get the feeling like they're clutching on to they're clutching on to this reality that they they know at some level is slipping away but they they can't they can't let go of of the past and this is what you get I think.

yeah i don't know if i know a single person who reads newspapers by the way i i have no i don't anymore i have i have one uh friend who's uh in his mid 80s and he still reads newspapers can i can i pump you on that my wife's gran is 102 yes and she still gets a newspaper good for her yeah i mean really good for her it's that's great no but i don't really know uh i haven't i haven't read a new an actual newspaper

I mean, if there's one in front of me, if I'm waiting somewhere, but I don't think I've read newspaper in ages.

But you're asking a different question, which is...

I'm not quite sure I'm getting all of it.

It's like people don't trust their government.

They certainly don't.

They don't trust their media.

They certainly don't.

But you're asking like, but we're still sort of waiting around for the government to tell us what we want to hear.

I think because honestly, I think at a basic level,

uh i mean human beings we are intensely social creatures we don't want to admit that sometimes we like to think i make up my own mind i'm my own person but we are we need to be and we are deeply social creatures and we uh i think have a basic foundational i'll say need to kind of be in line with the authority of our society

uh you know we're in an era where no one wants to admit that you know we we want a proper authority in our world but i think people really do we want we want a world in which uh there is a responsible authority in charge is what i believe some people like that's or they i make my own decisions but truthfully this is what i think so so i think we're we're angry
