because we don't have authority, at least in the Western world, that we really can believe in.
We don't believe in them.
And the truth is we shouldn't believe in them.
I mean, when you look at the leadership in literally any Western society, how can you believe in this, these people?
I mean, you go from bad to worse.
And that is because
That is because the Western world in particular, right up until the Ukraine war and right up until COVID, I think was seeing itself right on track to lock down a kind of global system with it in charge.
And so...
And so what that really meant is that literally every single Western leader was basically appointed by the World Economic Forum or put into place by a behind-the-scenes shadow group, which I think is true.
And I think people can kind of sense that.
Some people study this, some people just feel it in their bones, but they know there's something wrong with our political system.
It's not responsive to people.
So we shouldn't trust these guys.
but but we want i think we want i would even say crave perhaps a kind of responsible uh hierarchy that we can believe in but the problem is we haven't we have an ideology where we we reject hierarchy we have an ideology where we reject basically even taking orders uh for the most part so we don't really know what to do with that but i think people basically want
the feeling of living in an ordered society, and part of that order means having a reciprocal social contract with your government.
That's the whole concept of Western politics is a social contract theory, you could say.
It's like we agree to give up certain rights and license to act in certain ways in order to have a government that has a monopoly on legitimate use of violence, basically, to create order to allow the rest of us to thrive.
I mean, that's a social contract.
And that's really broken.
We don't really have a social contract.
