So song is born of endurance.
Gosh, that's such a lovely reading of the book.
And I'm so grateful to my friends, you know, my friends who have supported me, you know, as a person and as a poet.
And, yeah, you know, I'm so grateful to... You know, I dedicate poems to Daljit Nagra and to Emily Berry and to Anna Lowe.
And, you know, it speaks about their support, both as poets and as friends.
And I think that my friends...
and um relying on people and their wisdoms is one of the things that made the book possible that's lovely that some of that is is discernible in the book because um yeah because i mean it those dedications i really really i really feel them and i and i'm you know i'm so i'm so grateful um and that advice from dalgit in the life of victims to a creative one constantly rings in my head and
Yeah, you know, I mean, talking to you today, you know, is a beautiful thing that's come from, you know, the book, and I'm really grateful to be talking to you.
And, you know, I'm constantly learning about the poems, because when I talk to someone, or have been doing, you know, over the last six months, you know, they might say a phrase or a word,
And it just kind of opens it up for me again.
It allows me to kind of re-see and rethink it.
So I'm grateful for those kind of learning encounters.
And, you know, the other thing I suppose I've been really joyously surprised about is so many people have come up to me and said like, oh, I have a favorite crystal.
My grandma gave me this crystal.
And like, I really feel like there's this world of crystals operating underneath all of us where everyone sort of has a relationship to them.
And people have been
opening themselves and telling those stories.
So it's really beautiful.
I'd love to.
I mean, thank you so much for reading the book so deeply and thinking about it and for your really generous thoughts about it.
